WHAT IS PUPS?
PUPS - Short for "Preventing Unwanted Puppies" - is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers who are intent on reducing the amount of unwated puppies in our area.
PUPS Sponsers - free spay and neuter vet clinic three times a year for residents of Moosonee and Moose Factory. At the same time, we are able to promote shot/general check-ups and over all health concerns of pet owners in the community.

MISSION STATEMENT
To encourage responsible pet ownership and to sponsor an annual spay clinic for female dogs within the communities of Moosonee and Moose Factory. In emergency situations to help relocate unwanted, stray or abandoned companion animals.
PRIMARY GOALS
to reduce the number of unwanted puppies thru an on going program to spay as many of the local females dogs as possible
to reduce the number of abandoned/stray dogs thru relocation and placement
to actively educate community members on humane animal care and responsible pet ownership
to serve as advocates for the respect and compassion for companion animals throughout both communities
